As we enter the holiday season of giving thanks, Nourish All is grateful for the support of our donors, partners, and team who keep our mission alive. Our work continues to center on improving food security and livelihoods for vulnerable communities—in other words, helping refugees and rural women grow their own food and earn income from it.

Throughout 2025, our big focus has been mushrooms. Nourish All has designed, funded, and constructed several mushroom farms in Uganda and Kenya. We trained nearly 200 people – in schools, villages, and refugee camps – to grow mushrooms and turn them into healthy products.

Let us tell you about one community in particular: the Wives of Kings. The Wives of Kings is a group of 40 widows living in the rural town of Seme in western Kenya. Many are elderly, without steady income, and depend on small-scale farming to get by. Some even care for disabled and orphaned children.

Nourish All has deeply changed their lives. The Wives of Kings now operate a thriving mushroom farm. They’ve learned new skills, gained hope, and most importantly, have a sustainable agribusiness. In just the past six months, they’ve harvested 150 pounds of fresh mushrooms! With the help of Nourish All, the Wives also created and sold their first mushroom soap, skin cream, and porridge products. The mushroom farm and training site was even featured on Kenya’s national news (here and here). Next year, Nourish All will continue supporting the Wives of Kings by launching a Kitchen Garden program to complement their mushroom enterprise.

None of this would have been possible without your support. Thank you to everyone who has donated, encouraged us, and advocated for our work. Nourish All is deeply grateful.
